FREMONT, Ca / ST. PETERSBURG, Fl — June 2, 2026 — Deterrence and General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GDOTS), a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) today announced a teaming agreement focused on deploying AI-enabled capabilities to support and enhance manufacturing operations across the U.S. defense industrial base. The collaboration combines GDOTS's production expertise with Deterrence's capabilities in facility optimization, intelligent automation, and factory integration to help improve production efficiency, operational coordination, and manufacturing throughput.

The partnership integrates production equipment, operational workflows, and quality systems into connected manufacturing environments designed to support day-to-day operations, reduce downtime, and improve visibility across facilities supporting critical defense programs. By coordinating equipment performance and production processes more effectively, GDOTS and Deterrence aim to increase output capacity while supporting evolving U.S. and allied requirements.

The capabilities developed through this partnership will be implemented at the GDOTS Mesquite, Texas location and additional GDOTS facilities, creating a repeatable model that layers intelligence and connectivity onto existing infrastructure to create production systems that improve continuously through software. GDOTS and Deterrence will also evaluate additional opportunities to expand these capabilities across future production initiatives in support of critical defense programs.

"We're building autonomous manufacturing systems that learn, adapt, and scale in real time," said Dhruva Rajendra, Co-Founder and CEO, Deterrence. "This partnership demonstrates how AI transforms production facilities into strategic assets that respond to demand at the speed required."

"GDOTS brings decades of manufacturing expertise and proven production scale to some of the most critical defense programs supporting the U.S. and its allies," said Michael Bate, senior vice president and general manager at GDOTS. "Combining that experience with Deterrence's capabilities in facility optimization, robotics, and factory integration will help strengthen production operations, improve efficiency across manufacturing environments, and support long-term production readiness."

"Our men and women in uniform need a defense industrial base that can deliver, and this partnership is a step in the right direction. The Mesquite facility plays a critical role in ammunition production for our troops and our allies, and bringing modern manufacturing technology to Texas, makes good sense. I'm pleased to see General Dynamics and Deterrence working together to strengthen our nation's defense capabilities while supporting good jobs right here in Central Texas," said Congressman John Carter (TX-31).
